a little low for elite status imo, a step down from the old russian classification. But, it will get more people involved with raw lifting if alot of people think they can make master/elite.
Even if I drop a weight class I'm still in class III.
I'd have to drop a weight class (lose about 15lbs) and reach all my short term goals before I can make class II.

I just started squats and deadlifts a month ago though so it will take some time. I still bench more than I squat, which is crazy to me saying I have a 30 inch vertical.
Hovering between class II & III if I calculate front squat 1RM + db press 1RM + DL 1RM. Weighing 1 kg less would put me in class II. Changing front squat to back squat puts me in class II already, but I'm not sure if the back squat would get all white lights.
Pretty funny too when you're db pressing more weight than you ever benched (BB BP).

I can press more with dumbbells than my bench right now b/c the bar kills my shoulder.
