Default Golden Coral: All you can eat steak house

Yes you heard right, all you can eat STEAKHOUSE. I have eaten there multiple times, and I'm sincerely impressed with the food. They've got a guy who does nothing but stand there and cook angus steak. They also have a fresh bakery and a lot of 'american' food (rice, mac and cheese corn bread, a lot of other meats).

I highly recommend checking it out if you have one in your area. Think about it. $11 bucks for all you can eat angus steaks. Mix this with chipotle and You will be Hyuuuuuge.

we don't have one here, but it sounds awesome. I wish we did.

they have a casino i go to w/ an all you can eat buffet. It's more expensive though, like 18-22 bucks, but they have porterhouse steaks and such. It's great.

Chipotle is a great way to get calories. I eat there probably one a week or week and a half. I also love wendy's chili. Not a lot of calories, but decent for you in terms of fast food.

I've heard mongolian bbq is good as well, but we don't have one around here. You pick the meat you want, and they grill it for you there.

I love Golden Coral. I know what you're talkin about with the food and the steak...it really is good in terms of buffet food. I don't eat there as often as I like, but I generally get my $ worth when I do.

I believe that it is a more southern US based chain, because they are fairly common in VA and N.C.

That's a weird looking address. Here's the restaurant locator just in case. I've never eaten at one of these places, but if you're in to lots of food, it looks decent.

Fogo de Chao is another great all you can eat steak place. A bit more expensive ($35 for dinner) but the quality is high and they have a good veggie/salad bar.

Most meats are done in true Brazilian style - a simple salt rub. Good drinks too.

There are branches in quite a few cities now. And for Manny, all the waitresses I've seen were actually Brazilian.

Welcome to Fogo de Chão

i dont know of any buffets in my city ive only been to a couple of buffets (in the usa). Seems like they would be good for packing down the cals.. bad for about everything else.. especially the fatties.

We've got Ryan's Steakhouse here in KC. It's all you can eat. Steaks, ribs, prokchops, roasts, shrimp, etc.

This is what I would get, but Im on a PSMF right now so I want carbs right now. Id take meatloaf and pizza but Im picky about those so as long as they werent fucked up, Id have them.

Brazillian BBQ is also badass. Fogo de Chao is ok, but Ive had better churrascaria with less posh meats. For example, FDC has fillet mignon wrapped in bacon, which is really good but no Brazillian eats that shit. I like the ethnic places that really go to work on the ribs, lamb, steak, etc.

If any of yall are in San Antonio, TX. Make sure you stop by Lulu's Jailhouse Cafe and order The Sheriff (its a 48oz chicken fried steak served with a biscuit and small side of wedge fries). If youre extra hungry, you can order one of their 3lb cinnamon roles for a $1 if you finish the Sheriff.

Golden Corral's pizza sucks. Sorry.

And I always thought Ryan's was far superior to Golden Corral, at least the ones I've tried. I'm in Houston, though, so we have our choice of 49 different types of all-you-can-eat buffets around here. We're pretty spoiled. And lumpy.

Ahhh well then scratch the pizza.

You know what I want more than anything right now? Fried macaroni and cheese from Fridays. I would drop kick someone in the throat for that right now
