very impressive stuff
It would be cool to have a stone, maybe not 500lbs, maybe just a tad lighter

they are!
you don't think you can get it off the ground, but you keep holding on and squeezing, and then once it breaks off the ground, you have it lapped, then it's just a matter of loading it!
Then you look at your arms and have no skin!

Stones are one of my favorites events. That and yoke are awesome.

see, i hate doing the yoke. Maybe once i get the shuffle down, i'll like it now. But, whenever i do it, i just have this feeling that my knees are going to blow out. I love farmers.

That knee pain comes from taking big steps. One of my training partners tore his ACL, MCL, and some ligaments from taking too big of a step on an 800lb yoke. Hes back to squatting 365x8 6 months later, but still it sucks to get injured like that.

well, there's no pain, it just doesn't feel right on my knees. I do need to take smaller steps. I'll work on it.

I don't think my arms are long enough to even grip a 600lb'er!

I think right now, Z and Poundstone have the best chances. Z did 525x3 at the arnold. Poundstone did 1, but basically had a pec tear. So, if he's healthy, i think it will be a good matchup. Travis has a good shot as well, but i don't know where he currently is in max stones.

I'm halfway there... assuming the load is to 42". I couldn't imagine loading that to 48".
