Thanks for the interview. I have known Coach Dos for a long time. He is down to earth and will always help you. I value his friendship and his knowledge in the fitness profession.

I'll stay away from the training lulz, but on a more personal/behavioral level, he likes to lean heavily on internet marketing (T-nation articles, Men's Health website, forums including his own, blogs, etc...) to build his income. Yet one sure way to set him off is to critique him through one of these online channels, then sit back as he unleashes strangely-inappropriate rage on "nerds" and "wannabe gurus". And he misspells a lot of words in the process.

My favorite example of the above is when he blogged a hateful article full of hating on internet haters who critiqued him... and he called them "geniouses". That's like forty-seven types of irony all in one package.

I think he's fine at what he does. He just thinks it's more than it really is, and has a very thin skin if you bring it up.

But to his credit, I'd probably be pissy too if I was vegan. Killing and eating animals helps stave off the crazy. That's scientific fact.

Slightly more informative than his summit presentation.

Maybe I'm on my own but I liked his presentation; he was very approachable also. The aftermath could have been handled better however.

I thought completly the opposite. I viewed his presentation as weak, and even worse, he acted as if the question and answer session was something he wasn't interested in unlesss he was going to get another additional $65 per person - he passed or even refused to answer half of the questions directed at him. Good thing Dave was there to keep the room from falling asleep.

Mere mortals are not allowed to interact with DOS. You needed an intermediary, like
AC, to ask your questions.
