$10 a month is a cheap price to pay for great, no-nonsense information.

Alan,

Are these reports something a layperson could understand and apply to their life?

Greg I am sure Alan will answer this better but I really think the avearge layperson will not only understand it but benefit from it. This takes out the middle man if you will and puts you directly into the action. Def check out the free download of his first release.

Looking forward to the next one Alan.

Greg - I would say that it's pretty comprehensible for the lay person who regularly reads fitness stuff. On the other hand, if you don't read anything beyond magazine articles and very basic stuff, it might make your underwear bunch up a little. It's pretty heavy, I'm not gonna deny that. That said, I do keep the layperson in mind as I write it (not just the lab coat types), and I'm confident you'll learn a whole lot.

Leigh - I'm looking forward to releasing it

The lay person shoud not have any problem understanding the Review

I would highly recommend lay people read Alan's Review. The popular fitness media is full of fallacies. The information Alan provides is supported by evidence for his statements. Hopefully guys like Alan will change the way society views fitness.

thanks

I'd just like to say I'm finding the AARR worth every penny..

Alan's great for getting back to me with follow-up questions, and I've read all the newsletters 3 times now (and some articles more than that), and I'm learning something new every time.

There's been so many misconceptions about nutrition that have been righted for me as a result of this newsletter that I'm embarrassed to list them.. LOL

The new issue has been published.

Great job Alan. I really enjoyed the section on IF and the Special Investigation.

I read 3 months so far. I think an added benefit would be a members only forum where you can ask questions about what you're reading.

The more I learn about nutrition / exercise the more it feels like an X-Files episode. More questions than answers.

Or you could go straight to the horse's mouth (no pun intended), and ask Alan..

He's really good about getting back to people..

But yeah, it would be nice to discuss issues with other members.. See what they got out of it, get more insight..

speaking of AARR -
Do you all print it out to read it?

Because I hate dealing with double column PDFs when reading online.

What would be the downside of changing the format to a single column, at least as an option?

I haven't, but I might. I have to much to read compared to the time I actually read.

I am trying to get through the Omnivore's Dilemna and read Ross Enamit's stuff as well. This dosen't include the plethora of articles I end up reading over the course of the week.

Oh well.

I print it occasionally but mostly I just scroll it on my computer. It is a PIA but it's nicer when printed in the current format.

Thanks very much, everyone.

Kuri - I'm building my blog roll & I'll definitely have you linked in there.

Lisa - what do you not like about the double-column format? It's done that way because narrower columns are easier to read (for most folks, anyway). Making it available in 2 separate formats wouldn't be feasible for me. I hope you can understand.

I understand its not feasible. Just wishful thinking.

When you read on a laptop, for example, you read, scroll down, come to the end of the column, have to scroll up and up and then read down the 2nd column. Makes it annoying after awhile.
