Wow. Thanks for posting. No one deserves success in this venture more than Alwyn. He is a survivor and is paying it forward. Keep us posted. I already have my money ready.

Its a great project. I was honored enough to be asked to contribute an article for it. It should be an excellent product. Looking forward to it coming out.

Thanks, Ted! That's an awesome project and it deserves our support. That book will be amazing, no doubt.

Yeah, I ran across that yesterday by accident really...surprised no one here posted it already. Most of you guys are alot sharper and more up-to-date on this stuff than me.

Ditto. I was fortunate (and honored) enough to be asked to contribute as well. Should be a HUGE deal. Alwyn is doing a great thing with this project

As a survivor of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma who was given a 40% chance of surviving (and an active supporter of my local Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) I'll be buying this for sure!

Thanks for the heads up.

I wonder if there could be copies made available for sale at the summit?

I think I'm the only non-trainer who contributed an article. Mine's a life-lessons piece about all the things I learned as a waiter that I wouldn't have learned otherwise.

Of course, the most important thing I learned as a waiter is that I didn't like being a waiter, but I figured the article should be about things that aren't quite so obvious.

haha. That I will want to read for sure. I was a lifeguard back in high school/college. I should have written about all those summers where I begged the athletic director of my high school to allow me to transport gym equipment from the high school to the pool house at the pool where I worked.

It finally worked. And for one glorious summer, I had my own version of muscle beach. I would drag out the bench or squat rack during my hour lunch breaks and train right in the road next to the basketball courts.....haha. I ruled!....

I belive that the book has turned into something like a 400-500 page monster! Some great articles in it too.....lots of non-training-style articles which is very cool considering some of the authors.
