Question

My wife is getting herself a digi camera and I'd like to post some pics of myself so you all know who I am and can see some of my progress.
How do I do it exactly? Never had a digi before, never posted pics before.
Thanks for any help.
Terry

I find that using www.imageshack.us to host pics that are stored on my hard drive works quite reliably.

Terry,

Your digi should come with a program you install on your comp. You will hook up your digi to the comp after you have taken pics and you should be able to transfer them to the comp. They will be in a folder once transferred. Now, your goal is to get the pics from your comp the the world wide web. Like russ said you can use either that site or photobucket.com I find works well too. You will then upload the pics to that site and they should give you a URL for them. Take that URL and insert it in your post from IMG and your set!!

Excellent! Thanks a lot guys. As soon as she gets it, I'll try to get some pics up.

In fact.... let me try something. My mother in law sent me some pics off her digi and I saved them. Give me a minute here....

ok, forgot the "must already be on the web" part of your instructions. When she mailed me the photo, I posted it at another site. Hope this works.

Alright! Now I've got the hang of it!

That's a real rough photo I took of my favorite tattoo with the mother in law's digi.
It's kind of hard to tell (bad quality) but it's the American flag with an attacking eagle.

I'll get some more of myself someday soon.

Thanks again for all the help.

Uh.......... well........ suggestions? [/quote]Check the URL of the pic you posted....I'm assuming you got it from the site you posted the original pic to...look for another URL to put in between the image tags, it should be a full size pic....the pic you posted is obviously not the original size of the pic that was sent to you, right?
