Definately my favorite too. He did miss me a lot. It was so much harder to leave this time. I guess becuase I knew what I was coming back to and knew what I was leaving. Believe me, after that much time away, you cherish every moment with them. So much more seems less important and family and friends take top priority. My wife tells me that he walks around the house looking for me, because when I was there he and I would play kind of a hide and go seek game. He probably thinks "man my dad can hide good". I can't wait until he finds me.

Those are some good pics. I just got an email from my wife saying it was snowing in Arkansas. She was taking pictures so I could see it. Its my little boys first snow. I doubt he does much playing in it though. It is cold there, well, not that cold, but to cold for him to be outside.

Thanks, Ruma (and RedWifey, I didn't thank you earlier). The teens aren't that far away! She'll be nine in two weeks and just yesterday when I picked her up from school one of her classmates was very excited to tell me there was a boy that liked Asia! You want to talk about an embarrassed little girl.

No, JJ, I got a hardship discharge back in February of 2003. My husband had gotten deployed, and my unit ended up going not long after. I couldn't see leaving my babies with someone else. (I think they weren't all that happy about it since I had just gone to OCS!) Oh well, I gave up 12 years total, but family comes first. Part of me still misses it and always will, but the bigger part is glad.

Last week we had Ethan's 6 month picutres taken. Normally he's always smiling and laughing, but he would have not of that at the studio. Until of course we were reviewing the pictures. Then he started laughing up a storm. I may have to ground him for that once he gets older.
