Dos, your daughter is adorable.. she has your eyes. Isn't three a great age Dos and HardRox? I was putting our 3 year old to bed tonight, singing him lullabys and he was singing along with me. His 7 year old brother, in the upper bunk, was cheering the little guy on because he knew most of the words.
Thanks! I get that a lot..... wha? Oh, you mean the kids. Thanks for the compliment. Luckily, like JPs brood, my kids get their looks from my wife.
Our entire family could pass for Hawaiian with our tans.

He's the one in the background with the checkered shirt. It is the closest to actually being photograhed he has ever been. Incidentally, the person who took the photo, along with the three gentlemen you see pictured, have all mysteriously disappeared or died of "natural causes".
Hey Lefty: where are in you Chicago? Glenview here, but I grew up in Evanston. BTW, great pic in the front row of the bleachers.
Kaiser, I live in Winthrop Harbor. It's a small town in the northeast corner of IL with a large Marina.
That was my son's first bleacher game. It was in April this year against the Reds and the Cubs won 10-9 with back-to-back jacks from Sammy and Alou in the bottom of the 9th. What a blast.
JP, this is an outstanding thread. It's nice to see some faces to go along with the names as well as some incredibly cute kids.

I know Winthrop Harbor - one of my friends got married right there at the marina and they dock their boat there as well. Plus I used to teach some marketing classes for Northeastern up at CLC's campus near there.
My older son has gone to a ton of football games with me (NU and one Bears game), and has seen the Bulls and the Fire, but no Cubs yet (although he begs me every year). Pretty sad for a guy who, when he was a kid, used to take the 'L' down to a day game, spend less than 9 bucks including program and food, and get back home before 5PM.

Come on now, take the boy to a Cubs game. Although, I can say that it will cost a few $'s more than the 9 you spent. Our Bleacher tickets were $26 a piece and that was for the Reds. For the Astros they were $35! We take the Metra to the "L", it's so easy.
My son has not been to a Bears game, so that's next on our list. However, I think we will wait until next year when we have Rex back.

every month they keep getting better!! as any parent knows, their kid's knowledge and abilities increase at an astonishing rate during this period, hence my age designation using decimals. my daughter is using a half dozen new words a week.....simply amazing (especially considering her Neanderthal father)
Three is a wonderful age! My little girl is three, and that is the age that my true enslavement began. Every man should have a daughter. Glad I have a little of each for sure. Dos, that picture of you and your daughter together is CLASSIC! You look totally smitten, and I can certainly understand why.
