Those are awesome, it takes a lot of time and patience to be able to do something like that. I have never been able to draw a stick figure, more or less do something like these. They definately deserve props.

For all of those not lucky enough to live near the ocean... you take sand, pile it high, wet it and pack it tight. Then use spatulas, clay shaping tools and alike and have at it.

BTW -- I don't mean to make it sound easy, you need serious skills, just like any art medium. Its just that to create something is actually pretty easy. And, those are some phenomenal examples!

We used to make huge castles when I was a kid (we lived on LBI New Jersey). These are amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Incredible. These look like professional scuptures. It's almost unbearable to think of all that work and the that they'll only last until the next tide...

I realize that... I'm just amazed. That lion has to have been the hardest thing with that detailed main. Looks like something right out of the rennaissance.
