I don't see the Vikings doing anything big this season. Although they did have a really good offseason, the NFC North is going to be a hard division to win. The Bears are a very underrated team, they had a lot of major injuries to their big players (Urlacher, m. Brown, Grossman, Tillman) and have had a good offseason (Muhammad & Benson). Also Nathan Vasher has had a good couple of camps and should be their #2 which is good news for their D. The Lions loaded up this offseason with the pickups of M. Williams, K. Kennedy, and M. Pollard, but this is going to be a make or break year for Joey. C. Rogers apparently bulked up about 20 lbs during his time off and has a plate put over his collarbone, so hopefully he plays the full year (still haven't seen him play to his potential. The Pack don't have much hope especially with such a weak looking D, but you never know with Brett around....The rest of the NFC looks pretty much the same...look for the Falcons and Eagles to make runs at the NFC Championship. With TO saying he's going to show up for the Eagles now, you can never count them out.
For the AFC you've gotta like the defending champion Patiots, eventhough they let go of LAw and Bruschii is out for the season (recovering from his stroke). Maybe this will finally be Payton's year to take his team to the big one...
(You also have to remember there's still a ton of GOOD free agents out there.)
