Tell me this isn't in any way related to your charity work with the orphaned blind girls.

Well I had my 2 year appt today. AFter some teeth tightening, I still have no expected time to get these BRACES off!!
two rotated teeth on the bottom might just be almost as stubborn as me
I look forward to the appt when I have to wear the rubber bands, cause that means they're coming off soon.................
y'all have to wear yours much longer than the anticipated timeframe?

When I had mine I had them for 3 years I think. I hated the rubber bands - damn things kept breaking on me!

did they tell you it would be 3 years?
I think I'll hate the rubber bands too, but if it indicates the end is year, I'll be happy, for the moment, anyway

Cappy, they told me 2-3 years. My teeth are straight now, though. The braces and subsequent retainer gave me a major case of TMJ, so I didn't really wear the retainer, and now i have a small gap between my front teeth. Oh well.
The rubber bands suck when they break, because they'll shoot you in the mouth. That, or fly off and hit an innocent bystander.

I'm sure someone out there will still think you're still cute... even with a "black and decker pecker wrecker" (what we joking referred to as braces in high school). :p

I have a co-worker that has used the invisilign and really liked them cause you can take them out. Don't know how much they cost.

It is so so so cute!
Frank - you'll need braces again when you get older. They really only last about 30 years and then teeth start moving back. My dentist is on his third pair at 65 years old.

Either game or sympathy. The guests were in stitches when I related the Detour bar story that many here are familiar with during my (mostly ad-libbed) speech.

Official honeymoon isn't for a little while due to vacation scheduling issues. Having a great time here in Montreal, but she's tired after a long, but fun, few days.
