Kinda a hairy subject for me Yea, that was lame, sorry. Anyways, I am kinda hairy, not too bad but I am going to FL with some buddies next week and since I am gonna be spending some time at the pool and beach and have made some nice gains I figured why not shave to show off a little...right Well, I have contemplated this before but really never seriusoly, but now I decided I am gonna take the plunge and shave my chest and stomach. Few questions...
1. Should I just put shaving cream on my chest and stomach, use my normal razor(mach-3) and shave in the shower?
2. Am I gonna itch like hell if I do the above technique?
3. Is it gonna look wierd if I just shave my upper body? Do I have to shave my legs too? Gosh I hope not.
Any other advice from season body shavers would be appreciated. BTW, please don't laugh too hard
I have done it before, and I didn't get any razor bumps. It would depend on how hairy you are too. If you are pretty furry, I would buy one of those cheap clippers from WalMart, and then shave after trimming. No, it doesn't look that bad, as long as you aren't going to be wearing any European style swimsuit.

any gains you have made should be visible without needing to shave. Unless you really do look like the picture above

OK, I know for a fact that Mr. Soprano commits some sort of depillatory act, on his chest at least. I seem to recall a photo (from Aruba?) with a lot of chest hair and a gut, and then another photo with no chest hair and a six-pack.

I've shaved the chest and abs a couple of times using the aforementioned method, and it seemed to work pretty well. I just trimmed everything down with a set of clippers first, then slathered on the shaving cream and commenced to shavin. I hope those gains you mentioned are as good as you say, though. Fur may conceal muscle, but it can also conceal fat
OMG...did not expect such a controvesial response. My bad...sorry guys if this was a "taboo" thread but I figured it was just part of bb. Thanks for those who did help and for those who didn't...you made me laugh pretty hard with some of those responses so it's all good.

Perchance if you come across a white one, savour the moment. For they are few and far between. Then pluck it, store it in a small drinking glass, then, when you have enough of them collected roll them up and smoke them.
