It depends on how you define 'golfer'. I play regularly and expect to eventually join a club. However, I've been spraying the ball all over the place recently despite numerous modifications to my swing. My handicap isn't official (haven't entered scores in a while), but it's about 25-27
I've been as low as a 17 handicap. My dad is a 5-6 handicap and my brother is a 2 handicap (and 2 time defending champion at his club). I was in a sports store yesterday having my skates sharpened, and I was swinging some clubs while I waited. It felt good. Maybe this is my year----NOT!

wow..a 2 handicap! Your bro is good! You hockey players have natural swings anyway..Yzerman belongs to our club..you should see the guy hit the ball..reminds me of him putting it in the glove side against St. Louis in double overtime in the playoffs...
Russ, on second thought here..there is no excuse for a 27 handicap..
spend less time in the office and more at the driving range!

Quite a few of them are good. Vincent Damphousse (San Jose Sharks) has won the club championship a few times at a high end club in Montreal.

He must have to ride a cart with those knees of his....

I remember that goal, actually. Game 7 of the 2nd round in '96. They lost to Colorado in the next round.

Wendell Clark (former Maple Leaf, played briefly for the Wings) lives next to the 3rd hole at my bro's course. We sometimes see him on his tractor on Sunday mornings

Well, there would be no money for golf if it weren't for work

I'm hoping to get out 1-2x/week this summer.

I was actually hitting behind Yzerman on the driving range last year and thinking, you know..i'm probably bigger than this guy. He's not that big through the upper body. So there is a flag at 150 and I'm hitting my 8 iron at it, just swinging away and the teaching pro comes over and is talking to stevie..gives him some tips, etc..and he says, well, just use your pitching wedge to warm up...get the feel for the tip the pro had told him...and there he was, just hitting shot after shot 10-15 feet from the pin with his wedge..swing looked so easy..

Hmmm, you should live in the South. We really haven't stopped playing golf from last "season". We just have "winter" rules.
