Ok, I promised some update pics of me ~2 weeks ago. I took the pics, but I have a problem. For some reason, when I hook the camera up to the USB port the camera isn't recognized. But, I have an external modem and it recognizes that. I've reinstalled the camera software. What else can I do?

Try removing the software via Control Panel, rebooting and then plugging the camera into the computer after the computer has rebooted. It should prompt you to put the installation CD in.

1. Uninstall the camera software AND drivers.
2. Reboot.
3. Reinstall the camera software AND the drivers.
4. Reboot.
5. Plug in the camera.

What kind of camera is it?
What OS are you running?

Thought I would add that it works on Dad's laptop, but his burner is messed up right now, so that's out.
