my brother used to get a lot of autographs when we were little, cause he would just continue to walk past security. if security would stop him it would usually be by the time he was where he wanted to be an a player would stop security from taking him out (like doc gooden did) and sign his stuff, then pass him around to other players and give him whatever they had laying around. (we have a GIANT knicks players' shoe that's autographed) that and we would get to the games etc. early and hang out by the sides of the field and get autographs. then after the game we'd wait by the busses, normally the team would sign then. the away team was sometimes more inclined to stop, cause they didn't recognize you from standing out there after every game. it all depends on who you're aiming for. it definitely helps to be a little kid. good luck!!
keith, we weren't mets fans, but we would go to the mets games to watch the other teams. you should try getting some friends who care about the other team to go.
