I started a perfectly normal day today. Woke up early, got me and my son ready, dropped him off to daycare and then on my way to work.
In one of intersections that I take regularly, the biker right in front of me got into an accident with a big van. So I jammed on my brakes and the car behind me could not stop as suddenly and hit me from behind. The people in front of me (in the first accident) are still trying to settle off the issue.So I get down the car, take a look at the rear bumper and everything is fine. Not a single scratch. So I resume once the road is clear.
But I was still preoccupied with this first incident and slowly approaching an intersection at 20 KMPH( Which is PRETTY slow). This is an intersection in a residential area and you are not supposed to go at a high speed. There is this other car who is zooming in at 60 KMPH towards the intersection. I was slow but did not see him coming. I entered the intersection when I realised the other car was zooming in. I jammed on my brakes again and this guy zoomed passed A*S *OLE. He just left me shaking. I may have ended up in a hospital if I did not brake at the right time... Boy what an escape.

and still. I'm glad to know that you're safe. It's a shame that we have to go thru such near tragidy to appreciate how much we have. I hope you live tomorrow like the next tommorrow might not come.
