Thumbs up

Did any of you watch the preview during the SB? Looks like it is going to be a great flick for fans of the sci-fi genre, especially if you are a fan of Speilberg and Cruise (as I am of both). I thought they did a good job with Minority Report together, and I know the plot of WW so seems like it has real potential.

It should be a big, fun theater event. I just hope Spielberg doesn't ruin it with one of his sappy endings. We'll see!

Can you imagine how freaked out people must of have been during the original radio broadcast of that back before television, when some people thought it was actually happening?!?!

No bugs, nothin'!

Yeah, I can't imagine what would be going through my brain if I really really believed we were being invaded by bugs. *shudder*

I didn't like that trailer. I mean it was very well done, and it makes me want to go see the movie, but there wasn't really much of a preview of the movie. There was no fighting. There were no 'invaders' present. All I saw was people walking down streets and some dude looking at lights in the sky. What am I going to see?

matthew: i think that's 'the point of it... you have no idea what's going on, so it gets you curious to see it. its kind of like those internet domain commercials on tv that offer no info, just a website, and they get a whole bunch of hits.

The trailer in the link is not the one from the Superbowl. The one during the SB was showed mass destruction across the world taking place. Are we noticing a theme in movies of late?
