You don't have to find them on youtube, but bonus points if you do.
I thought of this because of Bamadave's birthday. I was looking for Davey and Goliath, with Goliath doing his "oh Da-vey" as he shakes his head. No go. I couldn't find a short clip of that, but I did stumble on all sorts of great clips that bring back old times.
I'll kick er off with the theme song from Davey and Goliath, anyway.
I used to kick off my morning with Davey and Goliath, then breakfast and off to school.
Let's put another candle on the birthday cake with Sheriff John -
He was on at noon. I remember in elementary school, if it was a rainy day, we all had to eat inside (rather than the outside tables) and they'd bring in a TV on a stand and let us watch Sheriff John.
I honestly loved anything that had layers. I loved shit that broke the 4th wall. Bugs was always so great at this.
Unfortunately, I've recently looked at some of the cartoons I watched, and am saddened by how I could watch some of that shit (damn ThunderCats was baaaaaaad)
But, I also had a great time with 3-2-1 Contact and the like.
Funny… when I was little we actually didn't have anything different to change the UHF dial, just the three networks and PBS… when I was in middle school and we moved, there was syndicated Fox and that required using the UHF dial… and I didn't realize it for a while. So, sometimes afterschool shows were cartoons and whatnot on Fox, other times it was Reading Rainbow and 321 and whatnot on PBS… took months before I figured it out.
(and to make this post really funny, I've just typoed "dial" 6 friggin times as "fial" erase "fial" erase "fial" erase… epic!)
Oh yes - the UHF dial - I think we only got channel 28 (KCET local PBS) and a couple of others on UHF - but we had a full VHF/regular dial with stations on 2,4,5,7,9,11 & 13
I will echo Aoife and suggest that if you have fond memories of these things that were planted in your mind sometime before the age of 12, it's best to not go back and watch them.
I made that mistake with the Dukes when Spike re-ran them a few years back, and let me just say, it's better enjoyed with an underdeveloped frontal lobe, or possibly drunk.

Amen to the Dukes of Hazard. I still have a Dukes of Hazard mouse pad. I'm pretty sure I can still sing the theme song.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
This was my Dad's favorite show though I remember it with the Stones' Paint it, Black as the intro music.

ME TOO! I had the sleeping bag, and of course as a girl was made fun of mercilessly by my female counterparts who of course had my pretty pony and the like. I thought they were the weirdos....also...this was one of my favorites:
