Default Compassionate Friends

Compassionate Friends is an organization that helps people with grief over the loss of a child.

Half of this post is just an FYI that the group exists if you know of anyone who has experienced this kind of loss and might need some help and compassion and like-experienced people.

Also - one of my cousins was killed 10 years ago in a firearm accident (he was ~21) and this group was very instrumental in helping his mom and his sister deal with his loss. There is an annual fundraising walk that they are particpating in and if you are interested to contribute on their team site you can PM me for the link.

All in all it seems to be a good organization that truly helps people at a terrible time in their lives.

Thanks Lisa. One of my clients recently lost both children in an accident. I'll pass this on.
