Default What'd I miss???

I've been AWOL for a while, what exciting stuff have I missed out on?? Besides the Summit, of course...

Welcome back Soldier! How did you like your DVD?

Hm... What have you missed? As you can see, the color scheme changed a little. I switched over to a new server and became business partners with the new hosts of the forum.

Nick is still a fReAk.

Oldguy is still... old. And he doesn't say "niiiiiiiiice" as much"

I have a new love in my life, which is a whole other topic on its own.

Galya and Roland are officially "together"... They're in love and going to populate the earth with uber-children.

Lou is still bald.

Russ and Cappy had their baby, making her the first official "jpforum baby." I'm still bitter that they didn't at least make her middle name "jpfitness.com." Her first word was "eh" and although she can't walk yet, she already has a great slapshot.

Another baby is on the way... L'il Red Baby should be here any second.

Tkinsley is single, so it's a good thing that she's so strong because she is having to fight the men off.

Mahler can now deadlift a Buick. His goal for next year is a building (only a 3-story one though, so don't be too impressed).

Not to be too ADD, but I love your quote in your sig line. Adams was my absolute favorite author.

So whassup with you? Why were you AWOL? Anything new in your life?

Okay, so I saw a response in another post first, so this is a re-post:

Holy hell, look who's back!

Nick is still a fReAk. Ummm, that's a given...

Oldguy is still... old. And he doesn't say "niiiiiiiiice" as much" No new catchphrase?

I have a new love in my life, which is a whole other topic on its own. Excellent! Glad to hear you're happy, you deserve it.

Galya and Roland are officially "together"... They're in love and going to populate the earth with uber-children. Again, excellent! Did Galya move to the states?

Lou is still bald.

Russ and Cappy had their baby, making her the first official "jpforum baby." I'm still bitter that they didn't at least make her middle name "jpfitness.com." Her first word was "eh" and although she can't walk yet, she already has a great slapshot. How dare they not pay homage to JP Fitness! I've seen Cappy's avatar, the baby is beautiful!

Another baby is on the way... L'il Red Baby should be here any second. Awesome, congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Red!!

Tkinsley is single, so it's a good thing that she's so strong because she is having to fight the men off. I have no doubt of that!

Mahler can now deadlift a Buick. His goal for next year is a building (only a 3-story one though, so don't be too impressed). 3 story? Come on, I know he can do better than that! I'm very disappointed. Unless of course, he just doesn't want to show off TOO much...

Not to be too ADD, but I love your quote in your sig line. Adams was my absolute favorite author. Yes, I think that quote pretty much sums up my outlook...

So whassup with you? Why were you AWOL? Anything new in your life?
Just been busy with kids and work, and now it's getting hot and I'm pretty much wiped out in the evenings. Being out in that heat all day is pretty draining. The only thing new, really, is that I've joined Precision Nutrition's 6 month Lean Eating Coaching program. I'm REALLY excited about it. I'm hoping I can make some permanent habit and lifestyle changes and FINALLY achieve my goals!! I've basically dropped out of/quit everything else I've tried, and I'm tired of being a quitter and never reaching my goals. I'm counting on JB and his team to kick my ass! Wish me luck!

I can't get any past the censors.

Good to see you here again, Michele. And good luck with JB's program. I was considering it but you know 6 months - men -that whole commitment thing - so I opted for something a little shorter.

Glad to be back! Sorry to hear about your commitment issues . Hopefully I can make the whole 6 months. And if I finish the program, wait, I mean WHEN I finish, and make the progress I'm hoping for, I'll post my before and after pics here!

P.S.

Hey girl, welcome back.
To A your Q, I have not moved yet, I just spent a bit over a month there, it would be cruel of Roland to expose me to too much of his awesomeness all at once, so we are easing into it a month here or there until I make the final move.

He's doing fine, working a lot, and going fishing every chance he gets. Hasn't been much lately, the weather hasn't been right for it. He did just go offshore finally 2 days ago, got a lot of fish for our freezer!

Hmm, I've never had my Q A'd before, sounds interesting! Just kidding...I have to admit that is the reason I didn't come to the summit, I didn't think I could handle Roland's awesomeness in person. Mahler and JP were almost too much...

There was a big oilfield fishing tournament your way last weekend I think.

That's the one. The guy in the office next to me fished it. He said it was a good time.

I think the only tournament he's ever fished in is one in Grand Isle. Hey, whatever works, as long as I have fresh tuna and mahi mahi, I'm happy! (As a matter of fact, I'm eating a salad with yellowfin tuna right now! )

Are you saying that avoiding hurricanes isn't a fun pass time.

Umm, I think that's exactly what I'm saying. I think I'd rather take my chances with tornadoes! I am from the midwest, after all!

The armed forces said you would see the world. They never said where you would end up.

True. I never anticipated ending up in south Louisiana, home of humidity and mosquitoes from hell. I blame Jimmy!
