That was the best end ever to a Cavs game!! Unfortunately, there wasn't a repeat the next game.
I was in downtown Cleveland this weekend and it was exciting to see all of the Cavs banners and huge Lebron posters in support of the playoffs. I wish I had playoff tickets.
Here's the best billboard right downtown....way more awesome in person, too:
Sorry, but I dont think Cavs are going to do it (Im a Magic fan, but even if I wasnt, would feel the same way). Lebron is good, but they just dont have a team or bench like the Magic do. Its 2-1 now, and if we win tonite, its a wrap.
I'll be honest, I never had any issues with Lebron, and always thought he was a good player, etc. But, now after seeing this series, and all this 'King James' bs, he really is a dick to be honest.
Besides the refs being all over his dick, and not making the right calls, at the last magic game, he walked right in between the dancers who were doing one of their skits while a time out was called...very rude and unprofessional in my opinion. Another thing that happened was when he was coming through the gate at the game, his little entourage was yelling like somebody just got hurt, and to move out of the way...all for Lebron's entrance (people actually thought something was wrong).
Im so tired of the whole King James and Kobe bullshit, and thats what the media keeps pressing for. To be completely honest, I hope Magic beat the shit out of Cleveland, and Denver smacks Kobe and the Lakers..now that would be some shit for the press to talk about.
I have bets with each of my friends because I picked the Magic to win the series. I'm not sure why it wasn't an obvious pick. The Cavs have....Lebron and the Magic have Howard, Lewis, Turkgalo just to start. The only reason the Cavs have even been close is because the Magic have a habit of freaking out and committing boneheaded plays down the stretch.
Lebron is a great player, but this isn't tennis. You need a full team to win in the NBA. Jordan had his Pippen (and Kerr and a host of others) and Lebron has?

+1
I couldnt have said it better myself. And, its so funny how cocky they are too, thats what has me laughing. Mo Williams 'guaranteed' that they would win the series? Really??
Maybe they should save the shit-talking, and concentrate more on actually winning games. At any rate, they 'may' take next game because of desperation and they will be in Cleveland, etc...but when they come back to Orlando on Saturday, its game over for them. And Clevelands sixth man is the refs...I dont think I've ever seen such bad officiating before. Calling a technical on Howard for celebrating?? Really? But they foul him and rap an arm around his neck, and they dont call anything. Or Mo Williams throws a ball at Howard after a play, and nothing? Amazing to see just how much they are siding with the Cavs, and Magic are still putting an ass-whooping on them.
Im actually really hoping Denver pulls this out tonight. I would love nothing more than to see Orlando and Denver in the finals. Just so all these people pushing for it to be Lebron vs Kobe can shut the hell up.
Yeah, there have been quite a few phantom calls on Orlando. The league needs to be extra careful here because everyone knows they are wishing for a Lebron/Kobe final and with the recent ref scandals any whiff of favoritism is going to be suspect.
