Default Yahoo Messenger Question

All of a sudden my Yahoo Messenger cuts off replies after about 12 minutes of chat, on both my home computers. My out going messages are received and I can see that the other person is typing, but I can't see the responses. The only thing I can think of that may have caused this is me deleting cookies, temp Internet files, browsing history, etc to help speed them up a little. Any help is appreciated.

The plot thickens......chat work well last night, no problems except that I can't see numbers being sent, had to be spelled out. Very wierd.
