Default Need some tech help

I need to find a way to save the audio from the March 18th edition of Astroline which can be found at this link. Can some one help me.

That is my boy starting about 20 minutes in talking to Hunter Pence and Milo Hamilton. As a baseball fan it is something I would love to save for when he is older.

I think (empahsis on think) Audacity (freeware) will record whatever your machine is playing - though in realtime.

There may be better solutions. Hopefully someone who knows will answer for you.

Audacity will do the job if you run Windows XP. Set it up to record not from your computer's microphone but from the soundcard, and then just play whatever you want to record and hit "record" in Audacity.

If you use Vista, this won't work, because Vista eats monkey ass.

I haven't found Vista to be a nightmare... just that stuff doesn't work with it all that well the way it did with XP. Vista should come with a disclaimer: Does not play well with others.

When you sit down and think about it, it is really amazing. These guys probably aren't making a ton of money yet they are giving away a good product. It's very much like the open source software movement. most of the time it is extrememly good stuff and most people are doing it for the love of the game.
