Unhappy Worst thing ever

When you are merrily drinking your coffee....

A stop at the coffee house, then you've gotten back in your car. It's too hot to do more than sip.

You pull into the office, get to your desk, test another sip. The temperature is now perfect.

Grounds.

Wednesday night we had a front come through that generated 75 mph winds overnight. Since it was the first big wind of the fall it picked up every tumbleweed in the state and deposited them here. I have pics on my cell phone of two story houses that are completely covered on the south side by tumbleweeds. I spent about eight hours today raking tumbleweeds out of my trees, gathering them up, stuffing them in a barrel and burning them. Great time. There probably isn't anything on this planet that I will ever despise or hate as much as tumbleweeds. My teenage son helped rake, and I begged him, just as I did last spring when we spent Memorial Day weekend doing the same thing, to study biochemestry and invent a chemical that sterilizes Russian thistle. He'd win a Nobel prize.

So, to make a short story long, tumbleweeds are the worst thing ever.

Worst thing ever: race through line at Starbux trying desperately to get to kid's soccer game on time. Juggle drink and chair and other junk, drop and spill completely full unsipped drink all over parking lot (with no time to go back for another)

To each their own. However, I have yet to see the eggnog lattes. I asked about them at *$ on Monday or Tuesday, I was told Friday. I still haven't seen em in this neck of the woods.

I have, granted, been away from here so I do not know what your last three months has been, but I will assume it has not been good, which sucks. I wish you could go through my last three months so having an empty coffee cup IS the worst thing ever.

Stay strong.

Second Cup have their xmas lattes out now.

Roland, you might need to stop hanging out at coffee shops, your post was disturbingly beatnick.

Worst thing ever. Explaining my order about 8 different times to the barista. Make it to class, one sip... Hot chocolate.

Worst Thing Ever:

Checking my credit report for the second (?) time in my life, and finding that all my parents' credit cards and home loans are on my report, since my father and I have the same name.

I'm going to have a great time disputing these. Ach.

My parents' is great, but still I want to straighten things out, even if it'll lower my score.
