But, yeah. You can talk. Just consider how you post if you want to be taken seriously.
Lack of punctuation, no capital letters, and bad sentence structure tends to get you ignored by everyone except those who also use no punctuation, no capital letters, and bad sentence structure. I'm just sayin...
If your questions or comments don't make sense or go off on tangents that never come back, give the illusion that you might be drunk, high, insane, or purposely trying to act like you're from another plane of existence, then it causes problems that we get tired of dealing with. Arguments (not necessarily started by you) spin out of control, then we have to start deleting posts and threads (etc.). So, please consider this, too.
Can we respect the idea and principle of second chances w/o insults or ridicule until he proves unworthy?
He posted three times before someone approached him about his style and persona. Now that he's been warned, let's for now be respectful and hopeful, ok?
To Onericali, a second chance is not a reprieve. You have less margin for error with a second chance. What I'm about to say may seem like an insult, but it's not. It's criticism for certain:
A sure fire way of looking stupid is to write poorly. People ignore you, pass by your ideas and won't address your arguments. They will ridicule you. It's your responsibility and in your best interest to improve your skills.
I haven't been around lately, and I have no idea what this whole rant is about, but I can say this:
Poor grammar, poor punctuation, and poor sentence structure in general make you look uneducated. Using slang while you text your best friend is one thing, but using it when asking a serious question here is another.
"Loose" does not equal "lose."
"Where" does not equal "were" or "wear."
"Supposebly" is not a word. It is "SupposEDly."
Please reference LD, or Mahler for examples of excellent grammar. In fact, John writes about as well as anyone I've ever seen. Then, ask yourself how respected these guys are. Write like an idiot, be treated like an idiot. It's not rocket science, people.
We're on an internet chat forum, people. For Christ's sake, we're not writing a thesis.

I think if he writes like that, he does. Big deal. It's a reflection of his personality. There used to be plenty of those to go around here. If people are turned off by him maybe he'll be ignored and eventually he'd leave. On the other hand, he may become a unique part of this community. A community, that I must say, has become quite bland, boring, and predictable.

I'll use good grammar from now on, and I won't go too far into the twilight zone to describe my ideas. I will likely delete this account and start another if this is allowed.
Basically, I have noted that if one expects to live and reach a culture, then one must become part of that culture, and to an extent I agree, so let's just say that I have taken that to heart, and will try to hold that thought in my every action.
On another note, I must say that I believe it is unfair to harass people, and I would appreciate, as long as I do not further in my own harassment towards others, that I be treated fairly.
I hope everyone remembers what they have shown me, that if an opinion is to be taken seriously, it must be said with at the very least, a slight be of consideration towards the respect of another person.
Supposebly isn't a word, but supposAbly is. It still sounds wrong to my ears, but it's not wrong.
