Default A little dead in here lately

What's up with that? I'm just guessing it's summer and people aren't camped out in front of their computers as much. Not that that's a bad thing...

Well, mostly I'm talking about the OT forum. The training forum and training log forums are more active than ever. I'm just bored. Anyone got any creative ideas? Maybe all of our active members could invite a friend or two?

A lot of folks are on vacation this time of year, so they're probably busy doing all that fun stuff and not getting online.

But I'm here. And I'm still trying to figure out if I can afford to go on vacation at the end of the month. If gas goes up to 5.00, probably not.

I'm trying to make that call now. We have a 2,800 mile road trip/vacation planned in Gold Beach, OR the first week of August. The minivan gets ~24 mpg, so at 5 bucks it's going to cost about $600 just for gas. Still a lot less than four airline tickets plus rental car, though.

I've spent all weekend putting my office room back together. I moved back in february. I should thank work for keeping me so busy that I'm still trying to get moved in. I'm just happy to have 3 consecutive days off! At least my old desktop is back together again. yay! too bad it needs to be upgraded badly

I did manage to find my heart rate monitor and recording device. Hoping to get myself back up to running ~30 miles a week again like I was doing last year at this time. this whole presidential campaign thing is keeping me way too busy.

JP I saw your driver's license picture in here! Hahaha.

Drivers License Search - National Motor Vehicle License Search

I think it's interesting to see how people look on their DL

I looked up my mom - now I see the resemblance that everyone else remarks upon.

It is not only here that is dead. Most forums these days have died down. I think you are right about summer.
Don't worry JP. It is still the best forum going.

They let you put pics of your butt on your license in AR? Wow. That IS a little backward.

I knew it... I knew it... (just like High School...and College...and work...and my family... and the neighbors...and that freaky ghoul that works at the local Blockbuster Video...)

It's a good thing I still hear those voices in my head. They keep me entertained... In fact, all four of us are going to the gym tonight.

Sweet you're a walking group exercise class. Do they give you a discount?

I'm sure all the grunting and lack of deodorant has nothing to do with it.
