Since I have no clue where else to put this . . . Hi Guys!
Hey everyone,
I figured I'd introduce myself! I'm Manny, a Master's student in Applied Physiology and Nutrition at Columbia University (yes, the one in New York) and a personal trainer at the campus gym. I originally found out about these forums through The FitCast and have lurked here for a bit, and now I finally joined (I will give a shout-out to Leigh Peele though since she did suggest that I come here in an E-mail exchange we had).
I know we have a lot of big names dropping in here on occasion so I'm definitely excited to be a part of this community! So far I have products from guys like Alwyn Cosgrove, Eric Cressey, Mike Robertson, and Bill Hartman and they've all influenced the way I train clients and myself.
I'll admit that I'm not one to spend too much time posting on forums (I've seen some ugly stuff go on in the T-Nation forums, plus with everything I've got going on I don't have a great deal of free time), but I am excited about finally joining this community and keeping in touch with all of you!

Effin' Leigh man - she's always bringing in the riff-raff.
Welcome Manny. Looking forward to your contributions and sharing your knowledge with us perpetual students of fitness.
If you haven't yet met Hartman, go meet him. The dude is amazingly brilliant and given your applied physiology studies, I think you'd enjoy his insight.
