Default Wicked tix available - Charlotte people

Lovely spam, wonderful spam, lovely spam, wonderful spam

Kinda sorta not really, but I do have a legitimate offer of two tickets for this Thursday's Wicked show:

Thursday, April 17, 8pm
Ovens Auditorium (Charlotte, NC)
Row QQ, Seats 107-108
Price: $250 for the pair

Feel free to PM me if you're interested. I've ended up with a scheduling conflict, so I won't be going and need to unload these (asking what I paid for them). Tell your friends.

Mods, I'll happily accept my flogging after these are gone

We just saw it on last night at Ovens - your seats sound better than ours! I thought it was great, it was much better than the book - it actually made sense! Casey thought it was alright, but nothing amazing as he is not a theatre person --- but he did like the storyline. (Just an FYI if you're thinking of going)

The book made sense to me...

I have heard that it is impossible to get tickets for this show. Hope you are able to unload them. If I could take them I would.

Really?
I loved the book. It's been so long that I can't remember why, but I do remember not being able to put it down both times through.

We saw it in Chicago last year. I'm not a huge play/musical fan, but I thought it was really good.

And yes, the place was packed. We got our tickets months in advance.

Interesting. This whole thing has brought up an ethical situation. Do I:

1. acknowledge people as they respond with interest and setup a queue (which I've done and replied to emails with such information), or

2. accept an immediate offer for payment and pickup, even though this was the last person (so far) to respond, and tell everyone else that someone in front of them in line accepted the tickets?

I'm sticking with #1 so far, but #2 is awfully tempting.

showing interest and showing up with cash are two vastly disparate things.

Either the #1's are going to "show you the money" or they are not. What's the point of having a queue with interested folks?
We want a queue of one with money in hand, right?

I really liked the book too, Matthew. And the sequel "Son of a Witch" - perhaps even moreso. Haven't seen the play yet though. Would like to but it hasn't toured through Vancouver yet.
