Well, it only took me 3 years, but I just blew right by the 1000 post mark, so here is post #1001. I spend a lot more time reading than I do posting, but my time in the world of the unemployed over the last few weeks has really helped me get to 1000 a little quicker.
I belong to a gym that doesn't have many "real" lifters in it, rarely do I see anyone using the squat rack for it's intended purpose, and when I do it's hardly motivational. Since I can't be around strong lifters in the gym, I come here to get my motivation for lifting. Maintaining my training log in a public forum has been one of the best tools to help keep me from slacking off. Participating here allows me to virtually hang out with other lifters, many of which are stronger than me, exchange information and push each other through that next plateau. I am not even going to try to name names, but I have been inspired by so many people here, ranging from almost half my age to twice my age. I only hope that someone else can say the same about my contributions here.
I have also enjoyed sharing my photography with everyone here and will do my best to continue. Finding the time to go out shooting has become more and more difficult, but posting here really helps motivate me to get out there more often.
It's great having you around here, Paul. Thanks for sharing your talents.

You're an important part of the JPF family, Paul. I always look forward to your posts. Both your lifting accomplishments and your photography are inspirational. Looking forward to many more.

Thanks everyone. I know I was going to hear it for not posting any pictures in this thread.
You may have seen them before, but here are a few of my favorites that should keep you busy for a little while.
