Happy Valentines Day all, another holiday when you have to avoid the sugar and fat bombs scattered throughout the day. On the bright side I am making Shrimp and Steak for dinner so it is possible to make some of the day healthy with a little effort.

Sign me up for Shrimp and Steak. RL's got a business meeting all day today with supper at Big Daddy's house. Now, truthfully...what's up with that!?

Happy Valentines Day, everyone!

But at least it's happy?

Yeah I have the sense of humour of a 12 year old.

On an unrelated note, in one of my history classes last week my prof told us that we (Canadian students) are always looking for a way to see ourselves as being pivotal in either of the world wars. He says that while we may have made a definitive difference to wwi, he was going to reveal the 2 things that Canadians were the best at in BOTH world wars. Eagerly we listened, our national pride all ready to ignite, when he turns and dramatically writes on the board "V... D"

Aw dang.

This holiday is a pain every year! I was going to take a girl out that I've been seeing, but its too hard for her to call me back within 6 hours apparently...and then of course she'll be angry that I can't get any reservations at the last minute on valentines day. Bah!

I have had my share of holiday woes as well:

Alas, the structural integrity of my last piece of valentines cup cake was not up to the challenge of traveling from desk to mouth.

Now I have more icing on me than usual.

Zach, next year make a reservation where you want to go for a time you think will work, ask her and tell her you made a reservation at ____'s for 7 o'clock and you'd love to take her to dinner.

She'll be more impressed that you already have the reservation. Then, if you need to change the time, the restaurant will be more willing to work with you. No one ever gets seated at EXACTLY their reserved time, anyway. They'll squeeze you in in a while.

Happy VD and valentine's Day to all.

I'm making a healthy lentil soup and not so heathly dinner, with a not so healthy appetizer, and yummy treats to go with it. But not to worry, we'll work it off later

The girl I'm seeing actually wanted to wait until tomorrow to meet up because she couldn't get to the gym the past 2 days (one day due to me), so wants to get to the gym tonight, as do I, otherwise I would have had to go to the gym last night right after my hockey game.

Hey, if the ladies want to opine about soap-opera love, we guys can drool over driving an Xbox-installed Ferrari through a burger joint drive-thru

That 150-inch TV looked sweet. Just what George Lucas called for.
