I have a lot of respect for Core Performance. Pretty interesting mixture going on here. Usually you see fitness "overly marketed and underly knowledgeable" groups getting hyped up with a common product.
Not this time.

I remember someone on MH using metamucil to reduce food absorption for fat loss since metamucil is about 1/2 soluable and 1/2 insoluable. I think his results were good, but I can't remember.
