I watched straight through, so I'm sure other's have commented prior to me posting this, but, I took some great key points away in his summary, and wanted to post them here for everyone:
  • Decide if you're a tigger or an eyore (aka have fun!);
  • Never lose your sense of child-like wonder;
  • Help others;
  • Get others to help you: Tell the truth, be earnest, apologize when you screw up, and focus on others instead of yourself;
  • Brick walls let us show our dedication;
  • Don't bail: The best gold is at the bottom of barrels of crap;
  • Get a feedback loop and listen to it;
  • Show gratitude;
  • Don't complain, just work harder;
  • Be good at something - it makes you valuable;
  • Work hard;
  • Find the best in everybody - if you wait, people will show you their good side;
  • Be prepared - luck is where preparation meets opportunity; and
  • If you lead your life the right way, your dreams will come to you.
My own personal take home, though, was that some of the best, brightest, kindest and most deserving people all seem to die from cancer. What they fuck!

I really enjoyed this and hopefully took a lot from it. Thanks for posting this, Fish, and thanks for the summary, Shark.

Have not seen the vid, since I am here at the office. Without trying to be a smart ass the summary sounds like a list of my motivators. I need to get on the circuit.

Look here; left side of the page.

RedWifey and I downloaded and watched it back in December and thought it was excellent.

Didn't watch it all yet, but I'm liking what I have seen. He's a very good orator.

Went back and watched it. What a tragic loss. An amazing man, with an even more amazing attitude.
