Thanks for making my eyes get teary at work, you jerk. Very inspirational. I still remember an interview with one of the original Body for Life contest winners, Jamie (something). He told his brother how he hated to exercise, how it made him tired and how it hurt his legs. His brother told him that he wished he could just feel his legs. That's when it clicked for him.

Dick Hoyt proves that age is no reason to put off starting a fitness program and jumping in with both feet.

I've read the Hoyt story before, but it's always good to read it again and again. It really makes you feel guilty for not using the muscles we have to keep ourselves in shape when there are so many others out there that wouyld love to simply walk...

Heh that's how I got it - a friend of mine sent me a Sports Illustrated article on them at work and I couldn't help but hold back the tears. There's videos on Youtube of them actually racing I understand. Compared to them we're all a bunch of slackers.
