trouble logging in

Hey did any one else have trouble getting in to the JP fitness site?

I typed in the address and got a window stating I needed to type in my authentication password, so I did, me being the idiot I am, and nothing happened. The window just refreshed erasing my entry. I tried to refresh the screen and again nothing but this "Authentication" window.

What gives, did I just give my password away to some hacker?

I haven't had any problems but I keep myself auto-logged in. What did the "Authentication" Window look like?

I have only ever had to log-in with the login boxes in the upper right corner of the forum, when you enter incorrect login info this is the message that you get.

Thanks for replying so fast Sign.....I am not sue how to get a screen copy of the window that pops up, but perhaps it has something to do with my level of security...cause I cancelled the window and got this message..

Couple more questions.

Work or Home?
Which Browser are you using? IE, Firefox, etc.
What did you do specifically to get this to happen? ex. did you type in the address and it popped up, or it didn't come up until after your tried to log in, etc.

typed the address in the Firefox address line and the window asking for Authentication, popped up, so before I could even get onto the site it was asking me for the authentication password.

Then when I didnt give it the right info, it just refreshing the window and the only why I could get into JP Fitness was to go back to my history and click on JPfitness from my history file.

ok, I just tested it as well, I googled jp fitness and clicked the link to his main site and I got the authentication box also. I am going to PM JP about it incase it something screwy with his server.

Normally I don't even go to the main site I just type in forums.jpfitness.com and that brings you right to the forum main page.

*edit* I just sent JP a message letting him know. If you are worried about someone having your log on info just go into the User CP and change your password until we know for sure what happened to jpfitness.com

Thanks Sign, changing my password, that is the first thing i did when I got into the site..the next was try and find the info to alert the web administrator . But I thought I would ask i anyone else was having trouble first.

Np, glad to help. It's funny, I completely forgot that JP even has a main site, I am so used to just coming directly to the forums.

Hey, glad to know I am not crazy. I got the same thing on both my personal computer and my network at work. I had to go to google and get in by another link.
