Should have been in Chicago on October 7, it was only 97 and humid...

Something about no water or Gatorade, I don't know, I couldn't hear too well, my head was stuck in a fire hydrant cooling off...

I guess it would make a difference that you were there for a marathon and I was there for a wedding ... that might be part of it.

I hope you all are doing ok today.

The drive home from work this morning was precarious. A lot of slipping and sliding, though none of it wildly, fortunately.

Kaiser, how you doing down there in Chicago?

(Not wanting to leave anyone out of the well wishes to Chicago, but he's the only one I know lives there)

Wet and not too icy today, unlike yesterday and tomorrow.

I thought you guys were getting snow in WI?

Ice ice baby..... this is day 6. It's getting old, but we're not as bad as Oklahoma and some other states.

You need to grow a thicker skin, Richie, because that isn't cold

I'm teaching Cappy that to Cappy. Fortunately, she likes the snowy winter wonderland (as she calls it) here so far

It started at 3am (I work 6:30PM - 6:30AM) with sleet, finished with snow. You guys did get the worst, but we got enough to put out the general "drive safely" warning from the city.

I like the cold, if I'm skiing down a mountain. Otherwise, I enjoy being able to take the canoe out on Christmas afternoon.

Yeah, so far the winter has been fun. It's pretty to see all the Christmas lights with snow on the ground, and it's only been REALLY cold a couple of days. I also got my first ever snow shoveling workout two days in a row, and that was cool. They just need to do a better job of plowing the sidewalks...they are trecherous in our neighborhood, and walking in the street is dangerous for obvious reasons.

However...I will be looking forward to some warm weather sooon...not sure how long I'll still think it's a novelty...kind of like a snow day when I was kid.

I AM getting demented, however...I now find 32degrees not too cold, while only 1 month ago I was complaining that that was cold because it's the definition of FREEZING
