It's hard to beleive that winter is here. We just had our first significant snow over the weekend. Here are some pictures taken in Central Park 2 weekends ago showing the last signs of fall.
I had to throw in at least one black and white for you guys.
The first one, to me, captures the crispness of Autumn, you can almost feel the cool breeze blowing the leaves off the tree...But my Favourite one is the B&W one...
Great pics, Paul. I like the third one. It really draws you in.

I'm with Bill. I love the solitude of the saxophonist with the people wandering by overhead. Nice shot, Paul.

Thanks everyone. It is really hard to beleive that this is all in the middle of NYC.
I'm glad that I could give the illusion of solitude in the picture of the saxophonist. If you only knew how long it took to get a single shot without 15 people in the way you would appreciate it even more.
I really wish fall lasted longer. It's one of my favorite times of year for photography, but the timing is so difficult since you never know what the weather is going to throw at you. I'm glad I had the chance to capture these while there were still some leaves left.
I'm with Bill and Rob. The picture with the guy playing saxophone is great. Well, they all are, but that's my favorite. Thanks for posting them.
