Ian (Kay) and I had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours with Ruma over dinner in downtown Boston. Not only is she as affable in person as she is on the forum, she has wonderful sense of humor and a great laugh to boot. Some lucky guy in India is counting the minutes until her plane brings her home tomorrow. Hopefully there's a big plate of food waiting for her because she can certainly put away some food.
We met at the Oyster House and snapped a shot before departing. For those that don't know, that's Ian on the right.
I can't see the picture, but that's probably just as well. Nothing could match seeing Ruma in person.
Ruma is easily one of the most delightful people I've met, and it was a genuine pleasure to have dinner with her tonight. Oh yes, and Greg was there too.
I hope Ruma can make it to a Summit someday so you can all meet her.
(Just don't serve her boiled potatoes... she gets very confused! )

Thanks for sharing the picture! Ruma, it looks like you had a great time. I'm glad you guys were able to get together! It's fun to meet others from the forum.
It's really cool that the three of you got to meet up in Boston. Good times indeed.
Greg - don't listent to Pete (like you would!) - the beard looks good, man.
RL - I think you just insulted yourself ...

I had such a wonderful evening and thanks to Greg and Ian for making that happen.
That homeless guy , is funny as hell and a cool person. I could not stop laughing that night. It was so nice of him to brave the Boston traffic and drive 45 miles one way. But I like the beard on him. Don't know what Peter was thinking
Ian is the sweetest person. Nice, kind and a gentleman. He is BIG. Though it seems like right now he is driving away the women trainers from his gym If you are meeting him for dinner, do get concerned if the waitress does not show up with the bill even after waiting for hours. Chances are Ian sneaked out while you were busy laughing on petty jokes and paid the bill. And if he says "All Set" it definitely means he has taken care of the expenses.
Jamie, you are right, I think the glass behind us reflected the light from the flash. I tried to have a great time in Boston for both you and me .
John.. I am blushing. That is actually me recuperating from Greg's jokes .
Nick, my husband was not surprised. My co-workers were, when I turned down their dinner request because I wanted to meet few people from the internet so bad
JP, kind of you but I don't think that is a very gorgeous shot of me Next time I hope to make the "Business" trip during the summit so that I can meet the entire gang.
Lisa, it was indeed a good time. A very memorable one. My Boston visit wouldn't have been successful if I had not met Ian and greg in person. They are such awesome guys. it was a pleasure to know them and spend few hours with them.
