Yes, similar traditions though it's not quite the big event that it is in the States. Our BIG family dinner is still reserved for Christmas. Thanksgiving is generally a bit lower key .... just a nice, relaxing time to be with the family with no big hype around the holiday. Having said that, I had 2 turkey dinners this year ... yesterday at friends, today with my family. Yikes ... I am stuffed!!

The holiday has lost some charm for me and Christmas remains the big holiday. I have worked in a Mall for 29 Years so Thanksgiving Day is always been the calm before the storm for me. New Years Day is the best as then the season is done and I can finally crash and watch Football all day with friends.
