Default What a weekend!
Saturday:
My son took first place in sparring in his age division in a large karate tournament in Denver.
The Wyoming Cowboys beat TCU for the first time ever.
The Cubs got swept. (The Cubs are the only sports franchise that I absolutely despise, besides the Broncos.)
The Rockies swept the Phillies. (a guy at work is from Philly, and he's a self-admitted major asshole, so this makes it even more fun.)
My wife was in a good mood.

Sunday:
The Steelers shut out the Seahawks.
The Chargers completely embarrassed the Broncos, 41-3)
I've got two full racks of baby back ribs that have been braising for hours, and the wind has died down just in time to light the grill.
The beer is very cold.
My wife is in a really good mood.


I must be going to die tomorrow.

Good stuff, Mark. My weekend wasn't bad, but sure not that good. Hanging with friends on Friday night checking out a great band, beautiful weather yesterday for a round of golf with the guys, and Jeff Gordon won today.

Tomorrow I find out if I get the internship for this semester. I hope I don't die tomorrow!
