Default Paul's Monthly Picture Post - October

It's October already and this month I have a set of pictures from a trip down to NYC for the day back in July. I live 30 minutes from NYC and this was my first trip specifically intended for photography. My friend and I walked around for the entire day and I have a lot of pictures to show for it. Enjoy!

The rest can be seen here.

Nice stuff.

I sometimes wish that I'd attended the photography school, rather than the standard college.

Thanks, Paul. I was going to say I really like your black and white work, but that "orange" shot just blew me away. What an interesting study in colour.

Nice work, Paul. You found some nice graffiti walking around. And GCT is an awesome building. Thanks.

That is some good stuff, Paul. I need to get up there and see it in person.

Ditto what Rob said... that orange one (is that Chinatown?) is absolutely brilliant.

Thanks for posting these.

Paul,
All very impressive, but I still think black and white is your medium. Those are absolutely eye catching.

Great as usual... You have such a good eye. In looking at your pictures, I've become much more willing to critically look at my own stuff and get rid of the fluff I've posted.

Thanks everyone. I really need to get down to the city more often. The orange shot was taken in manhattan near the entrance to the Manhattan bridge.

I am really getting more and more into black and white, so I'm glad everyone likes it so much. Maybe it's because I am partially color blind.
