I have my roadtest tomorrow at 3:30. If I pass, I get to drive by myself!
Wish me luck!

Thanks for the good luck wishes, I appreciate every one of them.
So, to the test.
I messed up on my very first turn. It was a left turn and I approached it like I had the hundreds of times I'd made this turn before. The one thing I forgot to do was check the hand signal to see how long my green light would last. I had a feeling all morning that I'd mess up on something small, and I did. The light turned yellow as I was coming to a stop in the middle of the intersection, waiting for the opposing traffic to open up and let me through. This sudden colour change caught me off guard, and I hesitated. I made the turn, and as I was leaving the intersection the light had turned red.
I knew right then I had made a big mistake. This just added to the pressure already on me. Added to my nervousness.
We made a few more turns, rights and lefts, and I did well on those. Did some parallel parking, did well. Did a three-point turn, did well. Brought the car back to the testing center to park, and parked it ok.
Now the moment of truth. "You can go ahead and turn the car off now", she says.
"Ok" I say, as I turn the key counterclockwise and take it out of the ignition. My hands were shaking, my head faced the ground, and my mind was racing. I knew what I was about to hear and couldn't believe it..
"You passed", she said.
hehehehe
She said because I didn't interrupt any traffic on that one turn, that she'd still pass me. We talked about what I did wrong, how to do it better, and that was that.
I can drive now
Thanks again for wishing me luck, I really appreciate it.
