Anyone have this cert? I'm currently working on my CCNA (first test Monday) and I think I'm going to get the CISSP next. I'm curious if anyone has done it by books only, or you think you need to go to some type of instructor led class. There isn't a training center around me that offers it, and I'd rather not have to stay in a hotel while I do this.

CISSP is the "Certified Information System Security Professional" and the CCNA is "Cisco Certified Network Associate". They're IT certs.

ever taken the CCNA before? I re-certified last year, it was pretty tough. If you have some experience troubleshooting though, you'll be fine.
you may want to see if it's available in college level courses, the CISSP that is. I'm taking online courses, through Strayer, and get reimbursed thru work for the classes. Materials like the Boson router sim are "course materials" and I get $ back for them too. Does your work offer a program like this?
Yeah I can probably get my comapny to pay for some type of online course for the CISSP. I'll look into that.
I haven't taken the CCNA before, my first test is on Monday. I'm taking it as separate INTRO and ICDN. So I don't think it should be too tough.
