Well, I've hit 2000 posts. Hooray. I don't lurk.

This is shooting from the hip, so I just want to say that this site is a great source of fitness information, no matter what your skill level or your chosen sport. The occasional trolls excepted, most people on here are great and willing to help, whether your problem is a low deadlift 1RM or the worst of personal problems. So kudos to all of you.

I've met two JPFers in person, BamaDave and Twins, and I hope to meet more of you in the future. (Runners, we need to figure out a fall race. Preferably the Marine Corps, Baltimore, or Richmond marathons.)

Well, that's about all. I've celebrated high times in my life on this site, and received advice for the lows. And now that this is my 2000th post, I can resume my regular training log posting.

Have a beer to celebrate. And since I'm essentially a nondrinker, have one for me too.

It was very cool to meet you, km. Kind of a surprise at the time, too. Congrats on the milestone. Now go comment about my marathon! :p

Oh, and remember, all viruses are male! LOL

eta: another runners' summit would be cool!

Congrats!! Hey, feel free to venture outside the training logs! Just be sure you don't accidentally click on CE...

Ok, let's think about this....... either you are or you aren't.

Seriously, congrats on the milestone. Wait until Friday, and I'll cover you on the beer!

How long do you expect to be in Northern VA? There's a pretty good chance I might be spending at least 4 months out there this fall.

Thanks all.

Twins: Yes, and restroom soap isn't essential to good restaurant hygiene.

FlyinM: Well, I only drink when I have to (work functions, pretty much) and then it's begrudgingly. I never have particularly enjoyed feeling like crap the day after drinking. It probably doesn't help that I'm a lightweight.

AF: I'll be here through mid-December, then it's off to San Diego. You going TAD/TDY out to Bolling or something like that?

gobbla: And I love you.

Congrats on 2000 and as a side not if you can keep your blood alcohol level at or near .08 all the time you never have to feel like crap.
