Default OMG! I'm buying a new house!

We just found out that we got an acceptable offer on our house, and our offer on the house we want was accepted, so we are moving at the end of the month. What a crazy month (with the summit, a press conference gig with the new governor the day before the summit, a rapidly growing business, and three ever-rambunctious kids)!

It is so close that we don't even need to rent a truck. Our property butts up to theirs in the back, and it is right around the corner with just one house in between us. I will wheel our stuff out on a dolly and take it straight to the house!

It was built in 1890, and it is 4900 square feet!

It has 12 foot ceilings, several fire places, elaborate wood work throughout, and a new modern kitchen. We are so STOKED!

Here's a pic:

It probably has evil spirits. It looks like it was once on an episode of Goosebumps.

Congrats! Wow!! That's a beautiful old Queen Anne. Do Summit attendees get a tour?

This sure makes for a crazy month! Hope you get a little vacation in May.

So the summit was a ploy to get help moving in? :p

Nice place. Congratulations.

Samantha asked the other night: "Where am I going to sleep at Mr. JP's house?" and I corrected her that we were in a hotel this weekend...but next time we come to Mr. JPs we are sooo coming to your house!

Awesome!

That is an awesome house JP. In California a house like that would cost like 600k, an arm, and a testicle.

What a great find!!!! Congratulations. I think you should aa mini-stongman competition to the summit featuring such Events as:
the refridgerator carry, box of books up the stairs race, etc.

Anyway, congrats to you and Erica on finding and buying such a beautiful home.

Congrats JP!

In addition to the Wii golf room I KNOW you'll now have a guitar salon.

Congrats JP, great looking place! By the way, I meant to put it in a pm, but if you need any advice don't be afraid to ask. My wife and I are both realtors, so I'll answer it to the best of my ability, and if I don't know, I'll ask my broker. Good luck in the closing!

What he didn't say, was that he doesn't need a truck, because before we get to hear from the great speakers we have to do some weight lifting - from one house to another. But we all want to see it anyway!

Where the F*** in California do you live?

In Southern California, you get a 2000 square foot house, with 3 beds and 2 1/2 baths, and no yard for $600k. Maybe...

In California, JP's beautiful house is a bazillion dollars, plus tax.
