I fed INNOVA puppy to my two - but its more a specialty shop find than a petsmart brand - unless your petsmart is very different than mine.
did the breeder have a suggestion for food so you could continue the same as what she's been on for awhile?

Wow, I bet she's beautiful, be sure to post pics! As far as food, I guess it depends on what kind of money you want to spend. My vet said Puppy Chow is perfectly fine. We're using the Puppy Chow for large breeds. Of course, we have to use the EXPENSIVE stuff for my other Lab, since she's diabetic. $40 bucks for a 30 lb bag.

Those dogs are my favorite. They are so beautiful!

I don't have any advice about dog food, but I can say that I like the name Roxy a lot. Make sure and post pics.

I've had a lab for almost 11 years and he's done GREAT on Puppy Chow - Dog Chow - Senior +7. But that's all he eats - no table scraps or "people food" for him.

My only advice is to take a larger breed dog OFF the puppy chow a little earlier than they recommend. I think they tell you to feed them that for a year, but my vet who had done a lot of research at Michigan State (very excellent vet school) said that it'll actually make them grow too fast and their bones won't develop properly. He had me switch at about 9 mos to regular dog food. I mixed the two together for a couple weeks to get his stomach used to it.

Awwwww how cute is she!!! Love the name too. I fed both of my larger dogs ( German Shepard and Rottie) a lamb and rice food (science diet) as I found it was easier on their tummies and great for their skin. It is a matter of trial and error to find one that will be right for them. Akalya (shepard) had a sensitive stomach and got hot spots if I fed him any thing else, Lexxus (rottie) would get bad dandruff if she ate anything else. We figured it was a food sensitivity. It was well worth the money. My beagle just eats whatever we buy and the garbage if he can get into it (we have had to get very creative with keeping him out), so it really depends on the dog. Sorry for the ramble so ya lamb and rice food

Awesome pup. If we didn't live in a place with a climate equal to the planet Mercury, I would love to get a husky or malamute.

Check the dog's stool for your digital camera. I've got a husky/golden mix that once ate a couch. I found it the next morning behind the dining room table in a pile. eeewwwwww!

Thanks ^_^ Huskies and Malamutes are my dream dogs, and i finaly got one.

Right now im using the Nutro Max Puppy Chow that the breeder was using. I've used puppy chow before with 3 lab pups, but I wasnt sure if something better was out there. I'll definatly take a look at some of your suggestions.
