Default The Dungeon

We went to see the Cirque de Soleil Friday night, and since we had a sitter for the night, we went out. Very rare occurence...anyway, we went to the French Quarter, and we went to the Dungeon, where I haven't been in several years. We had an AWESOME time. They played Rob Zombie, Slipknot, System of a Down, Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera, Danzig, NIN...the list goes on. That is hands down the BEST club in the Quarter.

Some day your kids will be saying, " Yuk, my Mom likes that Rob Zombie headbanging stuff."

reminds me of high school when i used to be depressed all the time. granted, hating life is kind of part of being a teenager, but when i started listening to happier music my life got much happier.

I know, my husband think that all the time. But for now, they like it. We have a video of Jacob in his high chair at about 18 months, headbanging to AD/DC.

I've always listened to that kind of music, and I've never been depressed. That music gives me energy, and gets me pumped up. The music that brings me down, is COUNTRY! Makes me want to cry in my beer...
