Default McDonald's knows what they are doing

They are now selling mini hockey sticks for collecting. Well my son now wants to collect them. So I guess we will be hitting McD's this weekend. I will get the grilled Asian salad and a stick

Ask them at the counter if they have all of them...they'll sell them all to you for like $.50 or a $1 a piece...save you multiple trips. Assuming they have more than one at once.

Just a tip from one parent to another!

They are $2.69 each and they usually only have 2 per week. They did that with the mini jersey's last year. 2 per week for 3 weeks. I will try that, but I don't think it will work. Thanks

I don't have a problem with mcdonalds. I can eat healthy there. But, I feel bad about my kids' food.

Are these hockey sticks collected outside of mcdonald's little collection, too? If your boy ends up with the whole collection of eight, then what?

At least with yu gi yo cards and hot wheels, there's something going on in the larger scheme.

Our McDonalds has always been really snippy and dismissive if I try to buy a toy other than the one shoved into the happymeal. When they had the bionicle toys last fall, I didn't want to buy the food but I wanted the toy - I couldn't get any one to help me with it anywhere I went.

He has Pokemon cards, Yu Gi Oh, Lego etc. Once we collect the sticks we still go out about once a week (not always McD's), usually Saturdays when we are doing stuff. He eats lots of good food and so I don't have much of a problem with him eating fast food once in a while.

Here in the states you can visit the state parks and collect hiking medallions. We do that with the 10 year old. She doesn't get one unless she hikes a trail or partakes in an activity at the park. That way I don't have to buy her one everytime I'm in a park. Plus it gets her outside!
