I was just visiting MH to see how far back I could find my posts as bsmith. I was just reminiscing. They went back years before the one below (not
by me but a reference) but, due to software change-overs, the older threads I was on when I first started this journey were lost. The Vuduchyld post caused this, I think. I haven't visited with popeye or coulditbe in ages! What happened to akicita and roleof and element? I'm trying to remember some of the others.
A 1,000 post milestone was a BIG deal back then!
Too bad BII is no more but, then again, I might not have found
JP's if that hadn't folded.
Much has changed over the years.

1000?
530 Days, since my first remembered visit to this forum.
I thought this time would never come, but, I suppose it has.
I didnt want it to come this early, because I will likely never reach 2000, and my goals, even after a year and a half are nowhere near being reached.
Its not that I didnt have to the knowledge to get my goals done, as the end of this message will show you, but I lacked something else. The inner power, to really do what is necessary. This year, more than ever, Ive slacked off in school, around the house, etc. I usually worked my ass off in the gym, but I never had the willpower to maintain a diet conclusive to either gaining or losing weight. Sure, I ate plenty healthy, but I didnt count calories, carbs, protein, anything.
I blame this for my shortcomings on both my weight and strength goals, because often, the importance of a good diet is underestimated.
With that being said, Ive been through thick and thin on MH. I remember the days when CouldItBe wasn't known as CIB, when popeye and akicitia posted reguarly. I remember bsmith, Anthony G, Kaiser, roleof, I remember waiting for determined's 1000th post (waiting for him to finish tap! ) and of course, waiting for Tony's 4000th. I remember puffy nipples, and who could forget BIG JOHN BASEDOW.
But instead of remembering what was, I want this post to tell what will be. I am following the T-Dawg Diet, and its showing pretty good progress. Once my shoulders are back to normal, I want to follow the O-Lift routine I was following before they starting killing me.
So to all you guys out there, just starting, or training for years and not being what you want to be, my message is simple:
Knowing how is half the battle, Being able to is the other half.
So, with no further ado (And a plug for my friend TT [there are clickable links here]) I present to you, Elements link list 2.0:

Thanks guys, The things Ive learned here have definately changed the life of one 17 year old.
