Hi all. It's been [very kindly] pointed out to me that I didn't post an introduction - so here you go.
My name is Lisa (surprise!). I'm 47, married to J., no kids, two dogs and live in Orange County, Ca. I work in IT designing and building information systems. I recently (2003?) completed a BS in Biology from UC Irvine, so feel free to draw your own conclusions about me being an old(er) college student in the sciences.
As I think I mentioned on another thread, I've lost about 50 lbs since Feb 1 of this year, with 40-50 to go. I'll probably start a training log at some point and put the boring details in there.
Welcome aboard. Nice to know more OC people around here. My profile says Torrance, but that's just where I tend to sleep. I'm mostly an OC guy (work and play), and plan to move back there ASAP (divorce stuff and all).
Glad to have a formal introduction. Thanks for joining us, Lisa! Looking forward to reading your training log. Congrats on how far you've made it so far.

That's cool! I'm 42 and trying to get a double in English and philosophy. In my eyes, when you stop learning, you stop growing.
Welcome to JPF, Lisa. Congrats on your progress so far.
